12 Valentine's Day gifts for him
Wed Feb 6, 2013
A paperweight? Nothing says "I have no idea what to get you" than an overpriced paperweight. Get him a copy of "Room Four" its funny, snarky, and the best odd-couple friendship story about 2 guys I've read in a while.
Calling all singletons! Bridget Jones to come back in new book
Tue Feb 5, 2013
Bridget Jones is my guilty pleasure. Not great literature but I still love it! If anyone wants something with a similar feel, my book club just did "Room Four" on the recommendation of a nurse friend and the veteran nurse/nurse intern/doctor intern dialogue is just priceless and so funny.

The old guy in "Room Four" talking about how he hopes to see Millie his wife again and he doesn't want God to get in the way with a bunch of church talk because he and Millie will have so much catching up to do.

She could play True if they made a movie out of "Room Four." But Tina Fey would do that character better.
Oprah picks first-time author for Book Club 2.0

I loved the 12 Tribes of Hattie. Toni Morrison...that's high praise. My book club just did "Room Four' based on a recommendation from a friend who is a nurse...and we laughed ourselves silly only to get choked up at the ending. Very sweet story of friendship.
